Porsche's most powerful Panamera

Jul 25, 2024

Porsche have revealed the two hero models of the new Panamera lineup: the Panamera GTS and the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid.

Turbo S E-Hybrid takes 4-door Porsche performance to a new level as the most powerful Panamera yet.

The top-of-the-line model boasts a combined output of 575kW and 1000Nm, with 441kW coming from its further developed biturbo 4.0L V8 engine, and 140kW from an electric motor.

It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 2.9 seconds, and has a top speed of 325 km/h. Not only is it the fastest Panamera ever, but it also set a new record at the Nürburgring Nordschleife for a top-class hybrid saloon, completing a lap in 7:24.172 minutes.

The Panamera GTS focuses on agility, eschewing the electric motor for weight savings and getting all of its 368kW of power from the 4.0-litre biturbo V8 engine. The eight-cylinder powerplant propels the GTS from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.

Both models come with a sport-tuned chassis, a sports exhaust system that creates a powerful sound, and dual-chamber air suspension, which has been tuned more aggressively in the GTS model for improved agility.

Distinctive design features allow these models to stand out in the range. The Turbo S E-Hybrid can sport a unique Turbonite metallic grey colour, carbon aerokit, and 21-inch wheels, while the GTS has black logos, dark-tinted headlights, and 21-inch center-locking Turbo S wheels in Anthracite Grey.

Each model offers interiors with an equal measure of luxury and sportiness. Race-Tex upholstery is used liberally throughout, with advanced tech and connectivity features, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto coming as standard.

The Panamera GTS will start $299,900+orc, and the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid at $445,500+orc. Enquire now at Giltrap Porsche.
